General:
Q. How hot will it get?
A.  No hotter then wood, if you purchase our standard color Sand.
Q.  How do you attach anything to the dock?
A.   In the 8 locations around the dock section
Q.  How fast will it fade?
A.  Our standard color Sand mixed with the highest quality gel coat on the market               should prevent fading up to 10 years plus
Q.  How much water does it require to float?
A.  The dock itself requires 2 inches
Q.  Does water stand on the dock?
A.  The deck surface is slightly crested to prevent water from standing on it.
Q.  Is it slippery?
A.  No.  It is molded with a wood grain texture to prevent slipping.
Q.  Can the dock stay in the water in winter?
A.  When there is shifting ice we recommend you remove the dock, freezing cold temperatures will not hurt the dock.
Q.  How high is the deck from the water?
A.  Floating is 8 ½” the more weight you put on it the closer the deck gets to the water.

Q.  What is it made of?
A.  Fiberglass with a honeycomb core
Q.  How does it float?
A.  It’s hollow like a small boat hull.
Q.  How much weight will a floating section hold?
A.  1500 lbs
Q.  Will these docks puncture easy?
A.  No, not with average use
Q.  How much do these docks weigh?
A.  Leg dock 120lbs, float dock 135lbs, locker dock 165lbs.
Q.  Some docks are filled with foam, why are these not?
A.  There is no need it only adds to the weight and price
Q.  How are Quickdocks made?
A.  Using a closed moulded fiberglass process.

Assembly / Installation:

Q.  Do you assemble the dock on the shore or in the water?
A.  In water.
Q.  What tools do I require to assemble the dock?
A.  A ¾” socket
Q.  How do you fasten the dock to the shoreline?
A.  In most cases with a starter box-hinge section
Q.  How do we anchor the floating docks?
A.   By using a concrete weight with a galvanized chain

Warranty:

Q.  What is the warranty?
A.  Manufacture defects is 10 years
Environment:
Q.  How are these docks safe for the environment?
A.  They do not rot, rust or leach anything into the water
Maintenance:
Q.  How much maintenance is required?
A.  You can clean the dock with water and a broom if you wish, or if necessary you can use a biodegradable non-abrasive cleaner on it.  All it really requires is respect.
